Live Fermentation Workshop

SAFE is pleased to announce a LIVE FERMENTATION presentation and workshop by Sandor Katz author of The Revolution Will Not Be Microwaved and Live Fermentation.

On November 29th Sandor will be coming to Berkeley to talk about fermentation and food culture. Come learn about the microbial ecology in your yogurt, sauerkraut and beer! Share in the delights of America’s underground food movements – learn about raw milk pirates, and illegal cooperatives that are springing up in every bioregion to serve the authentic foods we all secretly crave.

Attendees to this workshop will be able to take home a sourdough culture, kombucha culture, sauerkraut starter or other marvelous living foods.
